INQUIRY INTO PENDERRY WATER SUPPLY.
A meeting of the Swansea Rural District
Council was held on Wednesday afternoon,
Councillor T. Howell Jones presiding, when
the water and lighting estimates for the
different districts were rendered and the
majority approved with the exception of
Penderry, about the supply to which a great
deal of discussion prevailed, allegations be-
ing made that the Council, through Cockett
years without, adequate payments being
made. The matter was referred to a com-
mittee to go thoroughly into the matter.
The meeting was adjourned until Tuesday
